Welcome to the adventures of Chris Violence, a video,
pictorial, and written
account of my life and times.
You will be
with me as I tour with the band, party in Hollywood, travel
around the world, climb mountains, race cars and basically
live my life!
To start off
with, this webpage is written by me Chris Violence. I am the
singer of Cessation Of Life. On this page you will see me in
my daily life, handling business, hanging with the band,
playing shows, climbing mountains, racing cars and
everything else that is my life.
The views
expressed on this page are mine and mine alone and do not
necessarily include the opinions of my band mates. Again,
they are my views of life and the world.

To start
with...
I live in
Ventura County, California, 40 miles north of Los Angeles.
I've been performing for over 20 years and have been in a
slew of bands. I have recorded more albums then I can
remember and played more shows then I care to remember.
Heavy Metal flows through my veins, it is my true passion.
In my off time
from the band I do allot of hiking in the mountain ranges of
Southern California. Ranging in altitude from sea level to
9,000 feet. I've been through parts of Europe, camped at the
"With Full Force" Metal Festival in Germany, partied hard in
Amsterdam and lived in Japan.
Ever since a
child, cars have always been a focus of my attention. In the
past I've owned a 1964 Chevelle Super Sport, 1959 Chevy with
a 409 Big Block with a 6 pack and a 4 speed. I've had many
convertibles over the years, monster 4 wheel drives and am
currently playing with a 1983 Ferrari 308
In 2012
Cessation Of Life is planning on hitting the road once again
and I plan on video blogging the whole thing. My Twitter
feed will be full of pictures and video of those road trips!
Once spring
time rolls around I plan on doing much more hiking into the
Sespie Wilderness of Ventura county as well as hiking into
the Ojai Mountain Range of Southern California. 2012 might
take me up to Alaska as well....
So Stay
Tuned...things are about to get good!

Life In
Camarillo Documentary:
On a fall afternoon I took a trip to the Camarillo State
Mental Hospital. The hospital was originally open from 1936
to 1997 and then reopened in 1999 as California University
Channel Islands. Although much of the Hospital is unused, I
walked around into places most people never see. Notice the
lack of people in the video!
