throwing a MASSIVE party at Rockies Bar
in Lebec, California. How big is this
party? It's going to be BIG, we are
renting the top floor of the brand new
Holiday Inn in Lebec, including 4
suites. We will be the only band on the
bill at Rockies Bar so we can guarantee
a nice long set including all your C.O.L.
favorites as well as brand new music
from the yet untitled forth coming cd
due out this summer. Plus members from
the band Death Benefit will be on hand
to guarantee a blow out party!
What's that, you want to party with the
band before, during and after? No

Rockies Bar has been gracious enough to
set us op for the long haul, as we will

The band is going to party till 2 am
when the bar closes and then were off to
the hotel after party. Thats right. All
the hotel guest's (and a few selected
heads) will go back to the hotel to tie
one on till the sun comes up!

Friday August 14th, 2009 we’ll be cruising
down Sunset Blvd to the Dirty Lounge. It’s

As many of you may know and many more don’t,
Ron Ostlund, co founder of Cessation Of Life
has retired from the drum kit. We want to
thank him for all the great work and the
volume of music he helped us create. He
remains a great friend of ours and we speak
often. He is off to pursue other interests
in life and we wish him the very best.
To say this as
completely as we can, CESSATION OF LIFE is
not finished. On the contrary, we are
working on new music for later release in
2009, we are working with a new drummer (TBA)
and will be performing August 14th,
2009 at the Key Club (main stage) in
Hollywood California.
So keep your self
strapped in tight. This ride is far from

Cessation Of Life to
release “Best Of” cd “1996-2006” later this
month.
Cessation Of Life will release a “Best Of”
cd featuring songs from the 1996 through
2006 era of the band, simply entitled
“1996-2006”. The cd will include cuts from
cd’s no longer available, live tracks and
lost B sides including their cover of Iron
Maiden’s Wrathchild for Adrenaline Records,
Italy. The cd will also include rare
photographs of the band and art work over
the first 10 years.
The 21 song cd will be available near the
end of the February, 2008, though no date
has been set.

Life. The new 12 song cd entitled “Path Of
Totality” is the first with new guitarist
Marty Mostad and is still in line with the
bands “High Velocity Speed Metal” style. The

The waiting is
almost over…
On March 25th,
2008 Cessation Of Life will release
the long awaited new CD “PATH OF
TOTALITY”. This new CD will feature
14 brand new original tracks
including “Everyone and Everything”,
“Necropolis”, “Un-Tranquil Sea’s”
and “Murder In The Pit” to name just
a few. The release of this new CD is
the first with guitarist Marty
Mostad. Expect new videos for at
least 3 songs to follow later in the
year. Show dates are expected to
begin towards the end of April.

New CD Information:
OK Cessation Of Life fans, we are getting
close. The final vocal tracks were laid down
February 6th leaving just a few guitar solos
and production work. We are expecting the
full CD to be finished by the end of the
month with a tentative release date some
where in March, 2008. The CD is shaping up
well. There looks to be around 15 tracks
with some pounding songs. Expect the title
of the new CD to be announced in the next
few weeks!

More tracks were completed this past weekend
and the CD is shaping up great. Songs with
the titles of "Into Pieces", "Un-Tranquil
Seas", "Hot Rod Heaven", "Everyone and
Everything" and "Necropolis" are rounding
out this record nicely. No release date has
been set, but it won't be much longer!
